I enjoy the handwritten fonts from NorFonts and have bought them all. They are very well designed and look great. BopMusic comes bundled with a nice text font (BopMusic Alpha) with 10 different font styles, which makes it very versatile.
This is exactly the look I wanted for my jazz and popular arrangements and originals. My band immediately noticed the new font and complimented the new look of my works. I take engraving as a very serious part of publishing my work, and this font gives me all the glyphs and characters I need to stand out.
I’ve been using this font for a few years now with Dorico Pro. My work is primarily Big Band Charts for Professional or Semi professionals to read. The best feed back I’ve had is ” You give me every reason for not playing it wrong”. A very smart legible font easy on the eyes and eventually the ears!! I must also mention the great fast communication I’ve had with the developer Nordine.
I wish this stunning set were available for Sibelius.
A gorgeous jazz font
Hello everyone,
Today I finished my first big band arrangement with the BlueNotes (Smufl) fonts. It looks absolutely perfect and has exactly that ‘jazz touch’, I’ve been trying to achieve for so long. I work with Dorico and the font is really well integrated, which means I no longer need the internal Petaluma font, which was okay but didn’t measure up to the BlueNote fonts. Anyway, many thanks to NorFont, I can really recommend this font.
I’ve been using the Rhapsody font family for a few years now; it’s easy to read, and works well for parts when gigging. The author’s attention to detail is impressive.
I’ve just completed my first project using “Vintage Plate”, and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s clean and legible, with the warmth and charm of classic typesetting. The installation process was simple, and all three included fonts were instantly available when I relaunched Dorico. I plan on using this as my default font from now on!
This is my favourite design so far—extremely elegant and thoughtfully crafted. It offers three weights at a very reasonable cost, making it highly versatile. The lighter versions are perfect for chamber music, providing clarity without overwhelming the page, while the bolder weight enhances legibility in orchestral scores. The details are carefully refined; I’m especially impressed by the treble clef, flag shapes, accidentals, and tuplet numerals, all of which feel meticulously balanced. Dynamics are well-proportioned and integrate very well into the overall design. It is also suitable for a wide variety of music. Highly recommended!
An excellent font with three weights, bringing an elegant and refined touch to scores. It is highly readable and has a beautiful, inky quality that adds warmth and character to the notation. The different weights provide great flexibility: the lighter variants suit solo and chamber music perfectly, while the bolder option enhances clarity in orchestral scores. I am especially fond of the notehead and clef designs, which feel both distinctive and balanced.
I really like this font, for it’s gorgeous affect and excellent recreation. I can’t say that for MuseScore’s native font, but there’s a good reason why I keep coming back to @NorFonts for these files – they are scrumptious!

This is a really clean font in Dorico, easy to install and gives a nice ‘quality’ style to my lead sheets and solo transcriptions. Definitely recommended, a nice alternative to Dorico’s own jazz font Petaluma.
Another triumph for NorFonts! This is perfect for those who want a unique flavor of the formal, engraved look. To my eye, this blends the look of traditional German Urtext fonts and elements of Finale’s Engraver font. Scherzo has an instant professional appeal and produces effortless legibility. Great job, Nordine!
Da Capo is a beautiful music notation font.
It will create beautiful scores in the tradition of the great classical music publishers.
What an achievement! It’s great Art.
I’m glad I was the first person who bought The Copyist font.
This 100% SMUFL jazz writing font and it is just perfect.
I especially love the sharp descending line of the treble clef.
It looks aggressive in a good way.It has a very distinctive and graphically high quality scores.
The Copyist is a great jazz font.
The Norkeys font is a pure marvel.
It draws a piano keyboard and indicate the keys, we can put the fingerings which are perfectly readable.
A great success!
